Rules and Regulations
1. Things you’re not allowed to do inside the Dubai Butterfly Garden
- Bringing outside food and drinks
- Picking up, touching, or disturbing butterflies without the permission
- Littering or disposing of garbage other than the trash bins
2. Children must always be under the supervision of adults.
3. Your belongings are 100% your responsibility. Take care of your belongings yourself, and if you lose something inside the garden premises, management won’t be responsible.
4. Be mindful of your every walking step. When you’re walking around the domes or in the garden, you must avoid stepping on butterflies at all costs.
5. Stay away from the restricted areas inside the garden’s premises. Neither enter there nor damage anything that belongs to those areas or gardens.
Recommendations
- Visitors can take photographs on the garden premises. However, it is recommended that they get help from the staff so they do not harm the butterflies.
- Wear a comfortable dress while respecting the local values and culture.
- If you are a butterfly lover, do some research about different species before visiting the garden. Try to spot the known species yourself and recall interesting facts about them.
- Take help from the staff to navigate through the different sections of the Butterfly Garden. Or, carry a map to locate the premises yourself.
Timings
Sunday to Saturday: 9 AM to 6 PM
Winter months, from November to March, are the best time of the year to visit the park. The weather is more comfortable in these months. And if you are visiting, in summary, go in the early hours of the day when there isn’t much crowd and heat.

Educational Area is a must-see for anyone interested in learning more about – the butterflies.
It’s easy to while away a couple of hours in here as you wander through the different domes.
You can take a break, indulge in some tasty snacks – tasty treats include nachos, popcorn and gelato, while there’s also fresh fruit juices – while taking in a movie in our theatre.
Explore the Butterfly Museum to discover stunning artworks created using real butterflies by our talented in-house artisans.
You take home a special butterfly souvenir from the store that located right by the museum at the garden’s entrance.
